PCT No. PCT/US92/02962 Sec. 371 Date Jul. 5, 1994 Sec. 102(e) Date Jul. 5, 1994 PCT Filed Apr. 10, 1992 PCT Pub. No. WO92/18144 PCT Pub. Date Oct. 29, 1992The present invention is directed to a novel "handle" for solid phase peptide synthesis. The handles can be converted from a stable form to a labile form, allowing for cleavage of a peptide amide from the support after synthesis under mild conditions, and after deprotection of the amino acid side chains. The handles are based on a substituted benzhydrylamine skeleton. |
