The invention relates to aramid fibers with high hydrophobic treatment capacity, of high modulus, having improved surface friction properties, cleaning ability, low abrasion deposition, low fibrillation, which can be obtain by surface reaction of an aromatic polyamide fiber with a surface reagent comprising a ketene dimer of formula (I): [R1R2C2O] [R1R2C2O]. The invention also relates to a method for producing and using said fibers. |
