abstract The present invention relates to a blood bag system for donor blood comprising at least one bag (70) and a flexible hose (71), said system being made of an at least partially transparent plastic material. In the ready-to-use system which can be handled as an autonomous unit, one or more substances (31) are provided in a sterile state, in closed compartments (71a). Each blood bag system of this type can be combined, by link, with another blood bag system which can include one or more bags (3, 5, 7, 9) and can also be handled as a stand-alone unit.
