abstract |
Cobalt oxyhydroxide is formed on the surface of positive plate active material powder by mixing positive plate active material powder with coO powder for oxidation or oxidizing positive plate active material in a solution containing cobalt ions, or mixing cobalt oxyhydroxide powder with positive plate active material powder. The cobalt oxyhydroxide is used to form a nickel plate, and eventually to form an alkali storage battery. Since an electrically conductive network made of cobalt oxyhydroxide is formed in the present invention, the conduction efficiency between the positive plate active materials and between the positive plate active material and a substrate can be improved. |
