The invention relates to a method for detecting a potentially harmful cellular transformation in an organism. Said method comprises determining a syndecan content indicator from a specimen of biological material taken from the organism and comparing the determined syndecan content with a reference syndecan content indicator from a biological reference material of the same type. |
