titleOfInvention | Tris(norbornenyl) isocyanurate |
abstract | Tris (norbornenyl) isocyanurate compounds of formula (I), in which R1 represents either H or a methyl group, are prepared from base-catalyzed trimerization of norbornenyl isocyanate. Tris (norbornenyl) isocyanurate is suitable for use as a crosslinking agent in thiol-ene formulations containing a difunctional thiol oligomer or in systems containing norbornene difunctional oligomers and polyfunctional thiols, making it possible to give cured compositions properties improved at high temperature. |
