titleOfInvention REMOVAL OF METAL FROM COMPOSITE BODIES, AND OBTAINED PRODUCTS.
abstract The invention relates to a new process which makes it possible to eliminate from a multiphase composite body at least a part of at least one metallic component of a metallic constituent of this body. The invention makes it possible more particularly, by placing at least one infiltration enhancer and/or an infiltration enhancer precursor and/or an infiltration medium in communication with a permeable mass, which is in contact with at least a of the composite body, to cause the metal component of the composite body, once molten, to infiltrate spontaneously into the permeable mass. This spontaneous infiltration occurs without the need for resorting to the application of pressure or vacuum.
