| abstract |
A device for rapid and safe excision of tissue sample from a living body includes means preventing lateral movement of the cutting edge and when in contact with the tissue and means for controlling the depth of excision. The device also includes an external sheath which can be introduced into the tissue with the core rod and which allows the operator to have continuous access to the sampling site after removing the tissue sample. |
