This invention provides a growth factor-supplemented tissue sealant and methods for using said sealant to promote wound healing, endothelialization of vascular prostheses, and the in vitro proliferation and differentiation of animal cells. In particular, this invention provides fibrin glue that is supplemented with at least one growth factor, such as heparin binding growth factor and/or bone morphogenic proteins. The particular growth factor or factors selected is a function of its use. <IMAGE> |
