titleOfInvention Process for the isomerisation of normal C5/C6 paraffins with normal paraffins et methyl pentanes recycling
A process for the isomerization of C₅ / C₆ n-paraffins to isoparaffins is described, which comprises: a step (1) of isomerization of a charge consisting of a light naphthha and recycling of a stream rich in methyl pentanes and in normal paraffins; an adsorption step (2) carried out by passing the isomerization effluent over an adsorbent retaining the n-paraffins; and alternately with the adsorption step (2), a desorption step (3) carried out by lowering the pressure and stripping by means of a gas stream rich in methyl pentanes originating from step (4) deisohexanization; and a step (4) of desisohexanization of the adsorption effluent; n n n The isomerate freed from n-paraffins in step (2) and distilled in step (4) is a product with a high octane number.
