titleOfInvention LASER DIGITIZER SYSTEM FOR THE PRODUCTION OF PROSTHETIC DEVICES.
abstract System and method for producing a device, such as a prosthetic or orthodontic structure, an internal surface of which is to be applied to a part of the human body. Although certain methods have been developed, including those which make it possible to scan a part of the body using a laser scanner, these methods present difficulties when it comes to identifying regions, such as bony protuberances. , which require a modification in the internal profile of the receiving cavity of a member. Difficulties have also been encountered in programming software that is flexible enough to make the appropriate changes. The present system makes it possible to produce a cavity which adapts more precisely according to a process which takes less time and which is less uncomfortable for the patient. In the cavity produced from the mold obtained with the present system, the bulge regions constitute lightening zones in the surface of the structure and the narrowing regions constitute zones with higher pressure in the surface.
