The invention relates to a process for constituting detergent builder agglomerates by mixing a detergent builder of aluminous silicate or laminated silicate with a selected binder, in a high energy mixer, this operation making it possible to obtain flowable agglomerates. . The binder is an anionic synthetic surfactant paste or water soluble polymer containing at least about 50% by weight of ethylene oxide, and, optionally, minor amounts of ethoxylated nonionic surfactant. The agglomerates are also substantially free from amorphous alkali metal silicates if uncombined water is present. |
