titleOfInvention | Stabilized aldehydic disinfectant and preservative |
abstract | A stabilised aldehydic disinfectant and preservative, in particular based on glutaraldehyde, which contains imidazole and/or imidazole derivatives as stabiliser, is described. It can be in the form of a concentrate or ready-to-use solution, and its water content is preferably as low as possible. The stabilising effect is good enough that the composition can be brought to the desired pH, in particular in the alkaline range, during its preparation and not only upon use. This avoids the shortcomings of the two-component preparations which are known to date. |
