titleOfInvention Application of silica sols for obtaining a skin called "blanc picklé stabilisé" or "blanc stabilisé"
abstract Use of an aqueous silica sol to obtain a blanc picklé stabilisé or blanc stabilisé from a skin, especially by treating a skin at a pH of between 1 and 8, at ambient temperature, in an aqueous or brine bath with a density of between 1.014 and 1.09, with an aqueous silica sol containing, by weight, from 10 to 50 % silica in the form of discrete particles not bonded together by siloxane bonds and exhibiting a mean diameter of between 3 and 100 nm, and process for obtaining a blanc picklé.
