abstract | Process for the preparation of linear low density polyethylene with improved transformability by a gas phase polymerization carried out in at least two reactors, according to which a polymerization in one of the reactors is carried out in an ethylene mixture and an alpha-olefin CH2 = CHR, where R represents C1-10 alkyl, so as to obtain a copolymer containing up to about 20% by mole of the alpha-olefin; then polymerization in another reactor of a mixture of propylene and an alpha-olefin CH2 = CHR ', where R' represents an alkyl radical C2-10, so as to obtain a copolymer containing from 5 to 40% by weight of said olefin, its amount representing from 5 to 30% relative to the overall weight of the polymer. Then, the polymer-catalyst system obtained in the first reactor is introduced into the other reactors. |
