titleOfInvention Apparatus for spectro photometric analysis
abstract The apparatus (1) has a light source (5) for generating light having a line spectrum, a dispersion element (23), an optoreceiver (25) having a number of photoelectric transducers (25a) and an evaluation device (41) electrically connected to the optoreceiver (25). When the apparatus (1) is used, light generated by the light source (5) is fed to the dispersion element (23) after being influenced by a material to be analysed, in the case of analysis measurement, and without such influence in the case of a reference measurement. The said dispersion element then radiates light beams with different, discrete optical wavelengths to various transducers (25a). The evaluation device (41) identifies the spectral line for transducers (25a) receiving at least some light, and assigns optical wavelengths to at least some of the transducers (25a). It is ensured as a result that the optical wavelength assigned to a transducer (25a) in the case of analysis is identical to the actual optical wavelength of the light radiated into the relevant transducer (25a). The apparatus (1) can be produced cost effectively and permits precise analyses. <IMAGE>
