titleOfInvention Silver recovery process
abstract A method of processing a photographic developer solution containing silver ions includes contacting the solution with a silver recovery element (10) which includes a substrate (12) having a hydrophilic colloidal layer thereon. (16) containing nuclei of physical development. The contacting is carried out for a sufficient time to reduce the concentration of silver in the developer solution to a desired level. The method is used in the treatment of a photographic developer solution exposed or not exposed to air containing silver ions.
