titleOfInvention PARAFFIN ISOMERIZATION.
abstract A process for isomerizing a paraffin having 4 to 10 carbon atoms consists in bringing the paraffin into contact with a catalyst composition comprising a dehydrogenation / hydrogenation metal and a zeolite which has the X-ray diffraction diagram of the Table A in the description. The contacting is preferably carried out under conditions where the temperature is between 120 and 370 ° C (250 and 700 ° F), the pressure is between 100 and 7000 kPa (atmospheric pressure and 1000 psig), the space speed weight per hour is 0.1 to 50 hr-1, and the hydrogen: starting charge molar ratio is between 0: 1 and 10: 1.
