titleOfInvention | Cleaning composition |
abstract | The invention relates to cleaning compounds for removing reactive PUR melt adhesives from production and processing equipment, machines and plants. The cleaning compound according to the invention contains a NCO-reactive monohydroxy-functional compound as the essential component and optionally other additional components, such as resins, waxes, plasticizers and the like. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cleaning compound contains a mixture comprising a plastically mouldable composition which does not react with the PUR melt adhesive to be removed, and the NCO-reactive monohydroxy-functional compound. The cleaning compound according to the invention is readily miscible with the PUR melt adhesive to be removed without causing any undesired side reactions. Furthermore, the cleaning compound converts the PUR melt adhesive to be removed into fusable end products which are soluble in the cleaning compound. |
