titleOfInvention Process for producing magnetically sensitive polymer particles and their application.
abstract New process for the production of polymer particles with magnetic sensitivity comprising central polymer particles homogeneously coated with a polymer layer containing a metal oxide with magnetic sensitivity. A large variety of polymer particles having dimensions ranging from 1 to 100 microns can be used as central particles, and they can be transformed into polymer particles with magnetic sensitivity. In addition, the surface of the latter can be coated with an additional layer of functionalized polymer. Said polymer particles with magnetic sensitivity can be used for passive or covalent coupling of biological materials such as antigens, antibodies, and enzymes, or for DNA / RNA hybridization, and can serve as solid phase for various types of immunoassays, assays for DNA / RNA hybridization probes, affinity purification, and cell separation, as well as for other medical, diagnostic and industrial applications.
