titleOfInvention PRODUCTION OF PHYPHONIC ACIDS OF ACYLAMINOMETHANE AND PHOSPHINIC ACIDS OF ACYLAMINOMETHANE.
abstract Acylaminomethane phosphonic acid and acylaminomethyl phosphinic acids of formula (I): R2-CO-NH-CH2-P (O) (OH) R1, in which R1 denotes hydroxyl, C1-C4-alkyl or phenyl and R2 denotes H, C1-C6-alkyl, benzyl or phenyl, unsubstituted or substituted by one or more residues selected from the group consisting of C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxyl and halogen, constitute valuable intermediates for the production of biologically active compounds. They can be produced by reacting a compound of formula (II): R2-CO-NH-CH2-OH with compounds of formula (III): HP (O) (OH) R1 in the presence of at least equimolar amounts of acetic acid anhydride, relative to the compound of formula (II). The compounds of formula (I), in which R1 is not hydroxyl, are new.
