titleOfInvention Light-sensitive mixture containing o-naphthoquinone diazide sulfonic acid esters and recording material prepared therefrom
abstract R Wasserstoff, ein Alkyl- oder Arylrest, R₁ Wasserstoff, ein 1,2-Naphthochinon-2-diazid-4-, 1,2-Naphthochinon-2-diazid-5 oder 7-Methoxy-1,2-naphthochinon-2-diazid-4-sulfonylrest bedeuten und die Zahl der als R₁ definierten gleichartigen oder unterschiedlichen Naphthochinondiazidsulfonylreste im Molekül 1 bis 5 beträgt. Vorzugsweise ist der stöchiometrische Veresterungsgrad 40 - 95 %.The invention relates to a light-sensitive mixture which contains a water-insoluble resin-like binder which is soluble or at least swellable in aqueous alkaline solutions and an o-naphthoquinonediazide sulfonic acid ester, the o-naphthoquinonediazide sulfonic acid ester corresponding to the general formula I in the R Hydrogen, an alkyl or aryl radical, R₁ Hydrogen, a 1,2-naphthoquinone-2-diazide-4, 1,2-naphthoquinone-2-diazide-5 or 7-methoxy-1,2-naphthoquinone-2-diazide-4-sulfonyl mean and the number of the same or different defined as R₁ naphthoquinonediazidesulfonylreste in the molecule is 1 to 5. The stoichiometric degree of esterification is preferably 40-95%. n n n The invention also relates to a light-sensitive copying material made from a layer support and a light-sensitive layer from the mixture described.n n n The copying material produced using the light-sensitive mixture has a high sensitivity to light, a very good developer resistance to alkaline developers and can be developed without problems with aqueous, weakly alkaline solutions.
