Inhibition of mac-1 receptor binding to fibrinogen using d 30? homologs |
abstract |
Therapeutic compositions containing a D30 homologue capable of binding to the D30 binding site of the Mac-1 receptor, and serving to inhibit the binding between fibrinogen and this Mac-1 receptor via said D30 binding site. Also provided are methods of inhibiting binding of the Mac-1 receptor to any Mac-1 ligand, as well as methods of inhibiting by administration of a D30 homolog of inflammations due to Mac- 1 in a patient. |
