abstract An apparatus for generating vibrations has an actuator (31) that can be connected to an energy source and is equipped with a lifting element (33), which is connected to a working device (43) via a hydraulic linkage (35). The vibrations which can be generated by the actuator (31) can be transferred to a part to be treated, for example a tooth crown (3), via the hydraulic linkage (35).n n n This configuration makes it possible to transfer the mechanical vibrations generated by the actuator (31) to the tooth crown (3), so that the binder (4) located between the latter and a tooth stump (2) is uniformly distributed and compacted in a short time.
