abstract |
The invention describes a separation device with a transparent separation chamber in which an incident light source irradiates the components to be separated and the individual components reflect the light intensity according to their intrinsic color (brightness) via optics onto a linear row of photodetectors. The signals received by the detectors are forwarded to a computing unit in which they are processed. According to a program, a control unit is activated which, due to the accuracy and speed of the receiver and computing unit, works very precisely and thus guarantees an optimal separation performance of the separation device. |
