abstract |
Process according to which an electrochemical cell is used to simultaneously carry out synthesis and purification of a product while regenerating a conductive material. This improved process is applicable to an electrochemical synthesis carried out using the electrolysis of an active electrolyte in which ions from a counterelectrolyte selectively flow, as if they were 'an ion exchange membrane. The improvement consists of the purification of a previously electrolyzed active electrolyte, by its use as a counterelectrolyte, or as a counterelectrolyte component, during a subsequent synthesis. |
