PROTEIN ASSOCIATED WITH ACUTE PANCREATITIS, MEANS FOR THE DIAGNOSIS OF ACUTE PANCREATITIS. |
abstract |
The invention relates to the protein family (PAP) associated with acute pancreatitis in humans and rats. It also targets the nucleotide fragments coding for the above proteins. Also within the scope of the invention are antibodies recognizing the PAP and capable of being used for the diagnosis of pancreatitis. The invention also relates to the production of PAP, in particular by genetic engineering. |
