The present invention relates to a new category of cyclic peptides demonstrating an IgG binding activity and an inhibitory effect on the conventional complement activation track. These peptides can be used from a pharmaceutical point of view in compositions having an anti-inflammatory potential, and can moreover be used to enrich IgG in serum or blood plasma, to decrease plasma or serum in IgG and / or to increase IgG levels for example in body fluids. |
