OXIDATION RESISTANT THROMBOMODULIN ANALOGS. |
abstract |
New soluble oxidation-resistant thrombomodulin analogs have been produced for various therapeutic and other uses, such as in therapies for thrombotic and vascular diseases. These analogs have the characteristic therapeutic properties of native thrombomodulin, however they are soluble and they are not inactivated after being exposed to oxidants. Some of the analogs of the invention are multifunctional fusion proteins having both anti-thrombotic activity and some additional bioactivity. |
