titleOfInvention | Liquid-phase immunodiagnostic assay |
abstract | Reagents for a liquid phase diagnostic and immunological analysis method (LIDA) comprises a first enzyme; a second enzyme; a first agent capable of binding with an analytical element to form a complex, said agent being attached to one of said first and second enzymes; and a complex binding agent attached to the remaining enzyme. Said first enzyme is capable of interacting with a substrate intended for said first enzyme as well as with any other additional substrate necessary for said first enzyme to produce a substrate for said second enzyme. This second enzyme is capable of interacting with said substrate produced by the first enzyme with any other additional substrate necessary so that, when the second interaction takes place, it is detectable. The reagent further optionally comprises a phagocyte substance capable of rendering the substrate produced by the first enzyme inactive. |
