AQUEOUS SUSPENSION-BASED PREPARATION FOR INJECTION, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SUCH PREPARATION AND USE OF THE PREPARATION FOR THE RELIEF OF PAIN. |
abstract |
The invention relates to a preparation based on aqueous suspension intended for injection as well as to a process for producing this preparation and it also relates to the use of this preparation for the relief of pain. The invention relates in particular to such a preparation, which comprises a local anesthetic and / or narcotic analgesic insoluble in water, suspended in an aqueous medium and which can be successfully used for the relief of pain by epidural route and intrathecal, as well as for conduction anesthesia and infiltration anesthesia. This preparation is stabilized by the addition of a nonionic surfactant in an amount less than 1% by weight. The particles of the water-insoluble active agent have an average particle size diameter of less than 20 mm. More than 99% of the particles have a diameter of less than 100 mum and more than 90% of them have a diameter of less than 50 mum. |
