titleOfInvention | Process for the valorisation of all kinds of waste |
abstract | A process for the utilisation of waste materials is described, in which unsorted refuse is subjected to at least one high-temperature treatment. In the process, the waste material is initially compressed in batches to form compact packages, with the inclusion of any liquid portions present and retaining its mixed and composite structure. With the pressure stress being maintained, it is then introduced in a form-fitting manner into a duct heated to over 100 DEG C and kept here sliding in frictional contact with the walls of the duct until the liquids initially present have evaporated and mechanical restoration forces of individual waste components have been removed. Thermal degassing is carried out at least partially. The crumbling solids conglomerate, which is ejected from the duct so as to be dimensionally stable and structurally stable in this form, is introduced into a high-temperature reactor held at at least 1000 DEG C and here forms a gas-permeable packing. The liquid residues, if appropriate after separating off at least some of the metallic components using the energy of the gases produced in the degassing of the waste materials, are transferred in one process variant into a second high-temperature melt. From this melt, together with a significant part of its inherent energy, completely inert high-grade industrial products are produced in semi-manufactured and/or finished form. |
