Inorganic species modified cyanate resin bodies |
abstract |
Resin bodies comprising inorganic monomeric, oligomeric and/or polemeric species in combination with and capable of being bonded to thermoset and/or thermoplastic resin systeme derivable from cyanate functional monomers and/or oligomers. Reacted resin bodies are found to have enriched areas of the inorganic species. The resin bodies have a variety of improved properties including toughness and improved resistance to oxidation. |
