Persalt activators and their salts, which are derived from imidocarboxylic acids and sulphimidocarboxylic acids of the general formula I: <IMAGE> in which A denotes a group of the formula <IMAGE> n denotes the numbers 0, 1 or 2, R<1> denotes hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, C1-C20-alkyl, C2-C20-alkenyl, aryl, preferably phenyl, or alkylaryl, preferably C1-C4-alkylphenyl, R<2> denotes hydrogen, chlorine, bromine or a group of the formula -SO3M, -CO2M or -OSO3M, X denotes C1-C19-alkylene or arylene, preferably phenylene, B denotes a group of the formulae C = O, SO2, L denotes a leaving group of the formula <IMAGE> or a sugar residue, R<3> denotes C1-C19-alkylene, R<4>, R<5> denote C1-C20-alkyl, R<6> denotes C1-C19-alkylene, C2-C20-alkenylene, Y denotes hydrogen, chlorine, bromine or a group of the formula -SO3M, -CO2M, -OSO3M, -CONH2, -N(R<7>)3Z or -P(R<7>)4Z, R<7> denotes C1-C30-alkyl, Z denotes fluoride, chloride, bromide or iodide and M denotes hydrogen, an alkali metal or ammonium ion or the equivalent of an alkaline earth metal ion. These compounds are suitable as bleaching agents, oxidising agents and disinfectants in detergents and cleaning agents. |
