titleOfInvention | Polyester resin composition |
abstract | A polyester resin material is a blend composition of a polyalkylene terephthalate (PAT) and a liquid crystalline polyester (LCP) which are capable of forming a blend moulding in which the LCP forms a continuous phase having excellent strength, coefficient of contraction, coefficient of linear expansion and thermal resistance. A polyalkylene terephthalate having a melt viscosity of 200 to 5,000 P (20 to 500 Pas) at a shear rate of 1,000 sec<-><1> at a melt processing temperature and 2 to 6 carbon atoms in the alkylene chain thereof, is blended with a liquid crystalline polyester to form a continuous phase of the liquid crystalline polyester in the polyester resin composition. <IMAGE> |
