Material for semiconductor screen |
abstract |
The subject of the present invention is a material for a semiconductor screen as well as its application to the manufacture of cables or capacitors and to the electromagnetic screening of electrical and electronic equipment. It furthermore relates to the cables and electrical and electronic equipment containing it. This semiconductor screen is formed from a polymeric matrix containing one or more polymers and in which matrix is dispersed 5 to 70% of at least one non-doped or dedoped conjugated polymer (expressed in terms of weight). In the absence of an electrical field, the conductivity of the screen is very low, but this conductivity is an increasing function of the field applied (see curves 2 to 9 in the figure). <IMAGE> |
