titleOfInvention Probe for determining particularly the injectivity of an oil well and measuring process making use of this probe
abstract During the traditional injection tests carried out on oil wells, we have so far been content to measure hydraulic quantities characteristic of the fluid injected into the well (essentially pressure, temperature, flow). the present invention makes it possible to add microseismic measurements representative of the acoustic emission induced by the injection.n n n For this, a probe is developed consisting of a chain (10) of cartridges (4, 6, 8) essentially tubular, connected together by hoses (Fi), at least some of said cartridges (4, 6, 8) receiving means for measuring microseismic quantities representative of the acoustic emission induced by the injection of a fluid into the well, characterized in that all the cartridges (4, 6, 8) have a sufficiently small diameter to engage in a casing arranged in the well.n n n In parallel, a measurement method is proposed using this probe during an injection test comprising at least one period (I) of fluid injection followed by a period (II) of rest, the casing of the well comprising at least one level of perforations, characterized in that the probe is lowered into the well, then is immobilized near the level of perforations in order to measure at least the microseismic magnitudes preferably associated with hydraulic magnitudes during at least the period (II ) rest.n n n In addition to a finer image of the injectivity of the well, the present invention thus results in a test procedure which is both better suited to real needs (thanks to the modularity of the probe) and lighter (the probe carrying out several measurements during a single round trip in the well).
