A new process for the production of 1- (N-methylsulfonyl-N-methylaminosulfonyl) -3- (2-pyrimidyl) urea derivatives is described. First, methanesulfonic acid-N-methylamide with chlorosulfonyl isocyanate is converted into 1-methylsulfonyl-1-methyl-3- (N-methylsulfonyl-N-methylaminosulfonyl) urea and then converted into the end product with a 2-aminopyrimidine. |
