titleOfInvention | Novel terpene derivatives and process for preparing the same |
abstract | To provide novel terpenes which are useful for the preparation of drug, food, perfume and so on, and a process for preparing thereof. n In reacting a compound represented by the general formula (II):n n wherein n is 0 or 1 or 2, nwith a compound represented by the general formula (III):n n wherein R¹ represents a lower alkyl group; and R² represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a cycloalkylalkyl group, an aryl group, an arylalkyl group or a heteroaryl group, nto form a terpene derivative represented by the general formula (I):n n wherein R¹ represents a lower alkyl group; R² represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a cycloalkylalkyl group, an aryl group, an arylalkyl group or a heteroaryl group; n is 0 or 1 or 2; and the symbol n represents a single or double bond with the proviso that both of the linkages adjacent to each other must not be simultaneously single bonds or double bonds, nthe above reaction is conducted in an organic solvent in the presence of a transition metal compound and an organic amine. |
