titleOfInvention Superconducting current limiter
abstract The invention relates to a superconducting current limiter (1) which is capable of carrying large nominal currents. The previously known superconducting current limiters (1) have conductors (2) made of metallic superconductors, the operation of which requires complicated helium cooling. The subject of the present patent application is a superconducting current limiter (1), the electrical conductor (2) of which is made entirely or partially of a ceramic superconducting material. The conductor (2) is protected from mechanical destruction by a carrier (3).
