titleOfInvention Oxide superconductor
abstract An oxide superconductor having a superconductive layer interposed between two blocking layers compositionally different from each other. A superconductive layer is provided in any of the following structures: a single layer of one Cu-O₂ surface (single layer system); a double layer system containing two Cu-O₂ surfaces with a mediating layer interposed between said two surfaces; and a triple layer system containing three Cu-O₂ surfaces with a mediating layer interposed between respective Cu-O₂ surfaces. Because of difference in composition between the blocking layers, seventy seven (77) kinds, far more than before, of oxide and application thereof to a wider field is possible.
