abstract |
A high activity olefin polymerization catalyst, useful in the polymerization of low α-olefins, is obtainable by contacting an alkylaluminum halide with a solid reaction product of a magnesium alkoxide, a titanium tetraalkoxide and a phenolic compound which is phenol or an activated phenol and may be used to prepare olefin polymers by polymerizing at least one α-olefin, optionally in conjunction with a selectivity control agent. |
