Recombinant DNA comprising a chimeric nucleotide sequence encoding a receptor chain for the T cell antigen, said sequence consisting of: a sequence originating from a mammal and coding for the entire variable part (V), diversity (D) and junction (J), and a sequence of murine origin coding for the constant complementary part (C) absent from the mammalian sequence above, the two sequences being linked at the level of a natural or artificially created restriction site, antibodies obtained by using said DNAs, pharmaceutical composition and diagnostic products containing them, and method of preparation.
