The subject of the invention is ligands of formula <IMAGE> in which B represents a group <IMAGE> N-W, W representing the group <IMAGE> <IMAGE> in which X and Z represent a heterocycle. The subject of the invention is also the mono- or polymetallic complexes formed by these ligands with metal ions chosen from lanthanide ions, transition metal ions, barium, bismuth, lead and radioisotopes <99m> Tc, ¹¹¹In, <9> ° Y, <6> <4> Cu and ¹ <6> <9> Yb, as well as the physiologically acceptable salts of these complexes. The salts of these complexes can be used as diagnostic and therapeutic agents in magnetic resonance imaging, X-ray radiology, as in vivo chemical displacement agents, and in nuclear medicine. |
