titleOfInvention Optical cable and method of its fabrication
abstract The optical cable (OC) has a number of small strips (BD11-BD1m) each respectively containing several optical waveguides (LW1-LW4). The small strips (BD11-BD1m) are arranged in the cable core with their long side extending essentially in the radial direction. The optical waveguides (LW1-LW4) are introduced in the prefabricated small strip (BD11) such that the optical waveguides (e.g. LW1) lying on the outside, as seen in the radial direction, have a greater length than the optical waveguides (e.g. LW4) lying on the inside. n<IMAGE>
