The invention relates to a method for stabilizing the enzyme 1-methylhydantoinase (NMHase), which is characterized in that the NMHase is treated with divalent metal ions, a complexing agent which complexes these divalent metal ions, and a nucleoside triphosphate. The invention further relates to the use of an enzyme stabilized in this way in a method for determining an analyte, in which 1-methylhadantoin is reacted, and a corresponding reagent. |
