Strains of Escherichia coli bacteria capable of secreting heterologous recombinant proteins through the external cell wall and directly into the culture medium. The present invention also describes methods of production and identification of these strains, as well as methods of using said strains for the manufacture of heterologous proteins with high biological activity, making cell disruption unnecessary. |
