The invention relates to a femoral head shaft prosthesis with an elongated shaft part (2, 3) which can be implanted in the medullary cavity of a femur and fixed there by a cement layer. According to the invention, small-area elevations (17, 18, 19, 21) are provided as spacers opposite the inner wall of the medulla at a few suitable locations on the peripheral surface of the shaft part (2, 3), compared to the size of the peripheral surface. The lower shaft part (2) is cylindrical in shape and is intended for use in a cylindrically bored medullary cavity of the femoral neck stump. This achieves a uniform cement layer thickness with only minor interruptions for high primary and long-term stability. |
