This invention relates to a practically pure p100 which is found to be a neu related human protein with a molar mass in the range of from about 97,000 daltons to about 115,000 daltons, which corresponds practically to the extracellular domain of the neu human gene product, said protein being detachable in a biological liquid. In another version, this invention relates to assays for detecting this protein. Finally, this invention also relates to monoclonal antibodies capable of binding to p100. |
