A proteolytic enzyme used in detergent compositions having a higher pH and better oxidative stability under conventional conditions of washing laundry in aqueous solutions is produced by fermenting the host strain of Bacillus licheniformis transformed with a Multiple breeding plasmid consisting of DNA sequences which encode the desired proteolytic enzyme. |
